12 more stores announced for Mall at University Town Center
UNIVERSITY PARK -- The Mall at University Town Center has confirmed all the stores coming to the new mall -- and announced 12 more coming soon.
The mall, 140 University Town Center Drive, will open at 10 a.m. Thursday with retailers including Apple, Crate & Barrel, Michael Kors and Art of Shaving, as reported by the Bradenton Herald.
And a dozen stores that have not yet filed building permits will be coming soon, the mall's developer Taubman Centers announced.
The new retailers include:
4D Gelateria -- Traditional Italian gelato
Aerie -- American Eagle Outfitters' lingerie store
Branche -- A designer handbag kiosk
Forever Nails & Spa
Free People -- Specialty clothing store with Bohemian designs meant for twentysomethings; a sister company of Urban Outfitters
Naracamicie -- One of the first U.S. stores for this Italian clothing store and first in Florida
Paris Paris -- Hair accessories
PINK -- Apparel by Victoria's Secret
Proactiv -- Skin care
Royale -- Professional hair straighteners
Rudolph and Me -- Christmas ornaments
Venus Mini Med Spa -- Non-invasive, non-surgical medical spa that offers Botox and other injection services
The mall also announced which stores that have filed building permits will not be ready for opening day. Those stores include:

Capital Grille (Opens Oct. 17)
Shoppers looking for an early jump can go to Dillard's from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Macy's from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. For admission into Macy's, charities will be on hand to accept a $5 donation in exchange for a shopping pass that provides store discounts.
Two stores and the mall have announced special offers for the grand opening as well.
From Thursday to Oct. 19, spend $350 or more any time in the mall and receive a limited-edition UTC wristlet for free.
At 10 a.m. Oct. 18, Forever 21 will give the first 300 customers in line a randomly selected gift card valued at either $10, $20, $50, $100, or $210 redeemable at any Forever 21 location in the United States.
That same day starting at 10 a.m., Robert Graham will give a free gift with purchases of $250 or more.
