Lakewood Ranch medical center to provide playground at Mall at University Town Center

UNIVERSITY PARK -- A children's play area at the Mall at University Town Center will be sponsored by Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.

The play area is one of several amenities for visitors who might need a break from shopping. The mall will also boast a visitors center for tourists and a digital kiosk for anyone curious about cars.

The children's play area will offer oversized native sea life species in the lower-level Dillard's court. Soft play pieces such as Ali Gator in workout gear, Nurse Shark, Dr. Ray and others promote good health and play.

Visitors can see the latest Acura, Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota models displayed throughout the mall as well as view and request additional information at kiosks located inside the center.

A satellite Sarasota Visitors Center will be at the mall's customer service desk, located just inside the main entrance. Visitors Center staff will offer tips on hotels, dining, cultural attractions and beaches.
