Motherhood Maternity coming to Mall at University Town Center

UNIVERSITY PARK -- Stores are still committing to open inside the Mall at University Town Center with less than 30 days until opening.

Motherhood Maternity is the latest, filing its building application Friday with Sarasota County.

The maternity wear store will build a 1,600-square-foot store on the second floor of the mall near Dillard's, between Foot Locker and Charlotte Russe.

Motherhood Maternity is one of five maternity brands by Philadelphia-based Destination Maternity Corporation featuring a variety of clothes for moms-to-be.

Motherhood Maternity also maintains a factory store in the Ellenton Premium Outlets and has other retail locations at Westfield Brandon, Westfield Citrus Park and the Clearwater Mall.

The two-level, 880,000-square-foot Mall at UTC is expected to open Oct. 16 on the corner of Cattlemen Road and University Parkway with stores such as Apple, Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Dillard's, Crate & Barrel and Cheesecake Factory.
