How to make a "Cupid's Kiss"
Are you stressing out over how to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your significant other? Why not toast to your love at Pier 22 with The Cupid’s Kiss, a Champagne-based drink suited for the occasion?
You can also stay for dinner and/or a decadent dessert. The restaurant is offering a chef-created sweetheart dinner menu this Valentine’s Day. Housemade preparations include main courses such as wasabi-crusted ahi tuna, New Zealand rack of lamb, roast duckling and housemade sushi. Also on the menu, guests will find romantic desserts such as the chocolate kiss and chocolate-covered cherry martinis, according to a press release.
If you don’t like big crowds or just want to stay home with your main squeeze, Pier 22 bartender Melinda Osborn shares her recipe for the Cupid Kiss: First, sugar the rim of a martini glass and fill the glass with Champagne. Add a splash of St. Germaine. Finish with a splash of ruby red grapefruit juice and a squeeze of lime.
