When it comes to the most-popular fast-food restaurant in the country, most are in agreement:
Chick-fil-A dominates the map and is the one to beat.
According to research by Foursquare and Business Insider, an app used for recommendations, thirty-nine states – including Florida – prefer Chick-fil-A as their quick-serve chain of choice.
In 2016, Business Insider analyzed why the Atlanta-based chain dominates the fast-food industry while generating more revenue per restaurant that any other in the U.S.
The best of the rest, according to Foursquare:
Culver’s: Kansas
In-N-Out Burger: Texas and Utah
McDonald’s: Alaska, North Dakota and Washington, D.C.
Popeyes: Hawaii and South Dakota
Raising Cane’s: California
Taco Bueno: Oklahoma
Wendy’s: Vermont
White Castle: Nevada
