Cameron Maybin wins free tacos for everyone across the nation
Forget the record-setting eight homers – including five in extra innings – hit during Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday night.
For many of us, Houston Astros journeyman Cameron Maybin delivered the biggest contribution on a dramatic night at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
Yes, Maybin’s leadoff single in the top of the 11th sparked the Astros’ two-run inning that helped Houston to a 7-6 victory that tied the series at 1.
But that’s not the story here. What is: Maybin followed that single by stealing second base, winning free tacos for America.
Thanks to Taco Bell’s annual “Steal A Base, Steal A Taco” promotion, the first stolen base of the World Series means free Doritos Locos tacos from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 1 at participating restaurants.
