Forget Taco Tuesday. This Saturday, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop at 4808 14th St. W., Bradenton, is throwing an all-day fiesta (11 a.m.-2 a.m.) to celebrate its grand opening.
From noon to 2 p.m., select tacos are only $1.05 and Z105 Suncoast Classic Rock on-air personality Frank the Tank will be broadcasting live during those hours, according to a press release. The first 100 guests will receive a free Fuzzy’s T-shirt or tank, and giveaways will continue throughout the day.
Local favorite Jack Tamburine will play from 2 to 5 p.m.
The Fuzzy’s Taco Shop menu includes chips and queso and other appetizers, and a wide variety of salads, tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos, quesadillas and dinner plates featuring proteins such as shredded chicken or brisket, ground beef, spicy pork, grilled or tempura fish, grilled or tempura shrimp and fajita chicken or beef. The breakfast menu includes various burrito and taco combos, such as the chorizo, potato, egg and cheese burrito or the bacon, egg and cheese taco.

Fuzzy’s all day, every day happy hour features beer specials starting at $2.50, $2 glasses of wine, and house margaritas starting at $4.29. There are tons of different kinds of margaritas offered including the beerita which is a margarita with a Corona or other beer of your choice sticking out of it. (I highly recommend this).
And as a way of saying “thank you” to those who work hard to keep our community safe, first responders including EMT, police, and fire personnel eat free (up to $10/person) all day Saturday.
