This Friday freebie will make you flip

It’s National Flip Flop Day, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe wants you to celebrate with a Friday freebie.

Customers wearing flip flops at any of their nearly 600 locations from 2-7 p.m. on Friday, June 16, will receive a free 16-ounce limited-edition Sunshine Smoothie in a 20th anniversary souvenir cup.

There are no strings – or, in this case, shoelaces – attached.

“It’s been over 10 years since we started National Flip Flop Day to show appreciation for our guests and mark the kick off to summer,” said Mike Rotondo, CEO of Tropical Smoothie Cafe. “We look forward to serving over 500,000 guests who will visit one of our cafes on National Flip Flop Day ready to celebrate alongside us.”
