Grabbing Sunday brunch isn’t exclusive to traditional restaurants. Golf courses offer up their clubhouses as a can’t miss brunch spot.
University Park Country Club, at 7671 The Park Boulevard off University Parkway, offers a Sunday mimosa breakfast buffet for brunch enthusiasts each Sunday, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. It’s open to the public and costs $22.95 per person. Menu options include made-to-order omelettes, eggs benedict, applewood smoked bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, cheese blintzes, Norwegian smoked salmon, bagels, assorted housemade breakfast pastries, gourmet salads, a yogurt parfait bar and more.
Customers, of the legal drinking age, get their first mimosa or Bloody Mary for $1. Proper golf/dress attire is required, meaning no blue denim, cut offs or tank tops.
University Park Country Club also has a Monday soup, salad and deli sandwich buffet for $11.95 per person. The lunch, which is served 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., includes chili, salad bar, cold cuts for a sandwich, hot dogs, dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage.
