Oak & Stone celebrates American Craft Beer Week
If you are a craft beer lover, Oak & Stone is the place to be this week.
The upscale beer and pizza joint at 5405 University Pkwy, University Park, is celebrating American Craft Beer Week, with the big finale happening Saturday, according to a press release.
Oak & Stone, which features more than 50 craft beer varieties (all purchased with a high-tech beer bracelet) and wood-fired artisanal pizza, is showcasing breweries with Meet the Brewer sessions, $5 pint specials and more. Here’s the lineup:
Tuesday: Two Henry’s Brewing Company out of Plant City is featured. Specials include $5 pints of Roasted Jalapeno Blueberry Porter and their new creation with Keel & Curley Winery, Mad Man City Strawberry Cider.
Wednesday: $5 pints of Big Top Brewing Company’s Hawaiian Lion Coconut Coffee Porter and Meet the Brewer from 7 to 9 p.m. The event includes giveaways.
Thursday: $5 pints of Focus IPA by Calusa Brewery. As an added bonus, and in honor of Calusa’s founders, Geordie and Vic, the restaurant is also offering 15 percent off food for any active or retired military members.
Saturday: The Craft Beer Patio Party features live music and food from 4 to 6 p.m. At this event, Oak & Stone will be tapping a surprise limited edition keg. Also, the winner of the “Free Beer for a Year” contest will be announced. You must be present to win.
