Saint Stephen’s girls basketball loses to Shorecrest in final of preseason tournament

LeNae Jones scored 19 points, but the Saint Stephen’s girls basketball team lost to St. Petersburg Shorecrest, 45-37, in the finals of a preseason tournament Friday at Keswick Christian in St. Petersburg.

Claudia Sbaschnik contributed 12 points for the Falcons, who were 1-1 in the tournament.

Saint Stephen’s opens the regular season Nov. 18 at home against Shorecrest. Game time is 6 p.m.
