BRADENTON -- Southeast High senior Ronald Taylor has been selected to the Class 5A All-State second team chosen by the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches (FABC) and Source Hoops.

The 6-foot-3 swing man played an instrumental role in Southeast winning a district title and its first region quarterfinal game since 2004 this past season.

He scored a game-high 28 points in a victory over St. Petersburg Gibbs to give Southeast it first district championship since 2010.

Taylor led the Seminoles in scoring the last three years and averaged 16.7 points per game his senior season. He finished his career with more than 1,500 points.
