Saint Stephen's boys, girls set for state golf

When: Tuesday-Wednesday

Local teams: Saint Stephen's boys and girls

Outlook: The Falcons' boys team won last week's regional tournament by six shots with senior Justin Wynen's 73 pacing the club. There are seven teams entered in the state tourney that posted better regional scores than Saint Stephen's 309 total. On the girls side, junior Vanessa Yan posted a 78 to help the Falcons eke out a one-shot region tournament victory. Saint Stephen's fired a 373, which ranks the program toward the bottom based off region scores.
