Boys prep basketball | Palmetto hangs on for win over St. Petersburg Northeast

ST. PETERSBURG -- With just seconds to spare, the Palmetto Tigers managed to hold off host St. Petersburg Northeast Vikings and win by one point in a non-conference game.

In a 58-57 victory, Palmetto made the winning shot with 20 seconds remaining and was able to grab a rebound with 12 seconds left to secure the victory.

Trey Clark led the Tigers with 19 points, and Kyle Edwards had 11 points.
