High school baseball | Manatee beats Riverview 2-1

Seth Mullen was 1 for 2 with a double and an RBI, and a run scored, and James Cuccio also was 1 for 2 with an RBI as Manatee (3-3) beat Riverview on Monday. Jack Rodgers started the game and got his first win of the season, walking 3, striking out 4 and giving up an earned run in 4 1/3 innings of work. Andrew Schafer came on in relief, pitching 1 2/3 innings and striking out 4, and Garrett Richelieu pitched an inning to get the save.

Manatee's next game is at home against Sarasota on Tuesday.
