Bradenton Christian softball crushes St. Pete Catholic 17-3
BRADENTON -- The Panthers unleashed their bats Monday against St. Pete Catholic, and when the smoke had cleared, the final score was 17-3.
Bradenton Christian (7-5, 5-3) got hitting production from Katy Vautrinot, Carly Carbary and Ariel Marciano, all of whom went 2 for 4, in the rout.
Josie McCrea struck out 12 and improved her record to 2-0.
The Panthers' next game is Tuesday at Indian Rocks, and it's a conference game.
