JV girls soccer | Braden River blanks North Port

BRADENTON -- On Friday night, the Braden River girls JV soccer team wasn't about to lose again to North Port.

In the Ram Bowl JV Championship, freshman defender Morgan Moritz delivered the only goal for the Pirates late in the game, but it was enough to stop the Wildcats.

Braden River had played North Port three times before, without success, coach Ted Eversoll said. In this fourth meeting, he added, "Braden River finally got them back when it mattered most."
