Chabad of Bradenton & Lakewood Ranch will ignite a public Charity Box Menorah erected at Lakewood Ranch Main Street, followed by a community-wide celebration on the first night of Chanukah, which falls on Dec. 12. The ceremony will feature prominent community officials attending this event. Following the menorah lighting ceremony, hundreds will dance, sing and eat the night away accompanied by live music from the Freylach Band. The events festivities will also include food from Falafel with Yoav and a kosher BBQ, Kona’s Ice Truck, doughnut decorating, a juggler, latke bike, and hot latkes.
