Fall concert

Babyccino
With activities such as bubble play, soap making, challah baking, sing-a-long parachute and more, Babyccino was a real hit in its first year at Chabad of Bradenton & Lakewood Ranch. Chabad is bringing the program back to the community for its second year. Babucinno provides a chic meet for mod moms and their tots and features centers for creative art and expression, Judaic discovery, music and movement, sensory stimulation, dramatic play, parallel play, and social interaction. Classes are facilitated by Chanie Bukiet and open to babies and toddles from age 0-3. The classes will take place 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Sundays at The Chabad Houseat, 5712 Lorraine Road, Bradenton. ▪ Temple Emanu-El, 151 McIntosh Road in Sarasota, is announces worship services for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Led by Temple Emanu-El Rabbis Brenner J. Glickman and Michael Shefrin with a professional choir and congregational participation, services will be held Sept. 29 and Sept. 30, for Yom Kippur. These services, which use an original, age-appropriate prayerbook created by Rabbi Glickman, are free and open to the community. Addiction Recovery sessions
A faith-based Addiction & Recovery Outreach Program for men and women who struggle with addictions will be held 7-9 p.m. Fridays in the back of Bible Baptist Church, Room 201, 2113 Morgan Johnson Road, Bradenton, as our RU (Reformers Unanimous) Chapter K0455 meets. RU offers Biblical solutions that can help break the chains of addiction and bondage through the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no cost to those who attend, and we are here to assist and encourage those who want change in their lives.

Worship services, which follow at 6 p.m., are briefer and more informal than in the fall months, with familiar prayers and spirited music. The celebration continues after services end, as attendees join together to share Shabbat dinner in local restaurants. Social Action Committee, food drive, place nonperishable boxed and canned foods in a marked bin in the Temple lobby during business hours and before and after Shabbat worship services.
