All animals at Manatee Animal Services have $10 adoption fee for next week

MANATEE -- Manatee County Animal Services is running an adoption special for the next week.

All dogs and cats at the shelter, 305 25th St. E., Palmetto, will have a $10 adoption fee until March 31.

As of Thursday afternoon, there are 145 dogs and 26 cats at Animal Services.

"The shelter is overflowing and our animals are in desperate need of forever homes," a flier advertising the adoption special reads.

In addition to the adoption fee, there is a $15 Manatee County tag fee.

The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
