Capital Grille's Wagyu & Wine: The Capital Grille at the Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota announced its annual Wagyu & Wine event which runs through Nov. 22 in The Capital Grille's lounge. For $25, guests can choose from two different styles of Wagyu burgers, accompanied by their choice of a glass of two exceptional wines typically reserved for bottle purchases only -- Justin Isosceles Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles, 2012 and Landmark Overlook Pinot Noir, California, 2013. Table Creekside new fall menu: The Table Creekside, renowned for its global cuisine, launched new menus selections to welcome autumn. These new dishes feature fresh, innovative seasonal flavors as well as well as putting a new twist on some old favorites. Some of the new menu favorites include offerings such as the short rib rangoon, porqueta stack, heirloom beet carpaccio and new flavors were introduced to the Napa grilled octopus. Fresh and new additions to the regular dinner menu include braised short ribs, Texas de Korea, Pacific mixed grill, Colorado beef pho, roasted suckling pig, domestic rack of lamb and oven roasted branzino. Louies Modern new fall menus: Louies Modern, 1289 N. Palm Ave., Sarasota, presents new lunch, dinner and happy hour menus with fan favorites and new flavors to love, as well as a bevy of new beverages and a special menu for theatre-goers. This season, Louies is proud to offer bay scallops from Maine, squid from Rhode Island, scallops from Virginia Beach, and those beloved Cedar Key Florida clams. This season's offerings include comfort-food flavors like Nantucket Bay chowder with leeks, butternut squash, and fruitwood smoked bay scallops, and poached pear-fennel shortbread with melted Van Gogh gouda, and Porcini doughnuts with Moody Blue fondue, bluefin tuna kabayaki and vegan farro minestra with roasted heirloom carrot-tomato bisque, minted Marcona almonds; and Anthony Bourdain's Honey-Agave Chicken with double-beet spaetzle, baby kale, citrus, and goat cheese. Jazz brunch: The Sandbar's Sunday Jazz Brunch features nationally recognized, top local jazz musicians. The menu, served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., includes items made with farm-to-fork produce along with fresh gulf seafood, breads made on site and drinks made with fresh fruits.
