Nissan Debuts Frontier 250th Anniversary Edition Just in Time for 4th of July

Celebrating America's 250th birthday in style, Nissan is rolling out the red carpet for the Frontier 250th Anniversary Edition. The latest limited-edition for one of America's favorite mid-size pickups, the 250th Anniversary special brings everything its owners love, plus a themed graphics package applied to a limited run of 2,500 units.

Available exclusively for the Pro-4X, including the short and long wheelbases, plus the sporty Roush variants, the 250th Anniversary Edition adds a monochromatic "Stars and Stripes" themed tailgate badge. The subtle detail adds a little splash of patriotism to an already tempting and desirable mid-size truck, and comes free of charge with the limited edition run. The list of new features appears to begin and end with the graphic-clad badging, but the 250th Anniversary Edition still packs all the features that make the Frontier one of America's favorite trucks.

That includes a peppy 3.8-liter, 310 horsepower V6 engine, a standard 12.3-inch center infotainment screen, and the aggressive facelifted front end introduced for the 2025 model year. Per Nissan's latest report, the launch of the 250th Anniversary Edition coincides with the one millionth Frontier truck rolling off the line at their facility in Canton, Mississippi. For the North American team at Nissan, the 250th Anniversary Edition is as much a celebration for themselves as it is for the country it's sold in. Even if the special edition features are minor, the rest of the truck is still awfully tempting.

"The Frontier has always stood for rugged capability, durability and adventurous fun – hallmarks of Nissan's DNA," said Christian Meunier, chairman, Nissan Americas. "Just as importantly, it represents the strength of American manufacturing. As we celebrate 1 million Frontiers assembled in Canton during America's 250th anniversary year, this special edition honors the workers, communities and enduring spirit that drive our industry and our country forward."
