Mary Sutton and Wanda Masengale have joined Scholfield Realty as real estate agents in Manatee County. Sutton has 20 years of real estate experience in the Manatee County area. Masengale's experience is in new home sales.

Josh Groeschel, a real estate professional, has joined Keller Williams On The Water Sarasota. Groeschel has an extensive background in finance and wealth management. He has been in the real estate industry since 2000 and volunteers in various community organizations.

Eddy Shorter is the new assistant dockmaster and Dawn Ferguson is the new assistant food and beverage manager at The Seafood Shack Marina, Bar & Grill in Cortez. Shorter spent most of his formative years in Spain and Italy and joined the Navy upon return to the United States. He has been employed by various marine facilities in the area. Ferguson was the restaurant's supervisor. She was previously employed as a claims adjuster with Progressive Insurance.

John Pinkerton is the new business development manager at Yellowstone Landscape's Bradenton/Sarasota location. Pinkerton served as a business developer with other local commercial landscape maintenance firms. He is a state of Florida certified pest control operator and a licensed irrigation contractor. Pinkerton earned a master's degree in public administration from Florida State University.

Cristina Meyer is the new project architect, Kathleen Gonzalez is the new interior designer, and Juan Ocana is the new BIM technician, all at Fawley Bryant in Bradenton. Meyer owned an architecture firm and obtained a master's in architecture at the University of Florida. Gonzalez has a bachelor's degree in interior design from Purdue University. Ocana has more than 10 years' experience in computer aided drafting and design and building information modeling and obtained a degree in drafting and design technology from Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne.

Joseph Walsh Jr., CEO wealth adviser, and Joseph Walsh III, wealth adviser, both of Walsh & Associates attended LPL Financials' private wealth symposium as their company's representatives in Dana Point, Calif. The invitation-only symposium brought together the finest advisers to challenge them to strengthen and grow their practices by featuring an agenda focused on how to effectively market to win, and serve high-net-worth investors.

Tracy Abrahamson joined Coastline West Realty of Florida as a sales associate. Abrahamson worked in the public accounting field and also worked as a registered nurse, specializing in hospice care. She graduated from California State University-San Marcos with a bachelor's degree in business administration and has a nursing degree from the University of San Diego and a master's degree from Drexel University.

Allen Carlson joined the new UF Innovation Station Sarasota County as its regional director. Carlson retired as CEO of Sun Hydraulics and is active on the boards of Sun Hydraulics Corp., Tervis Tumbler and Mayville Engineering Co. Inc. He is a regent at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and serves on various local and regional boards for Junior Achievement. Carlson is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the advanced management program at the Harvard Business School.
