Without challengers, local state attorney, public defender retain their jobs

Twelfth Judicial State Attorney Ed Brodsky, Public Defender Larry Eger and two 12th Judicial District Circuit Judges Diana Moreland and Thomas Krug won election Friday when no challengers filed to run against them.

The qualifying perioid for candidates for the positions was noon Friday.

The qualifying period for other positions up for a vote this year is June 20-24.
