Manatee concert band deserves new home

I totally agree with Kathleen Richardson on the need for a permanent building for our wonderful and talented Manatee Community Concert Band. Have you ever looked into the Port Charlotte Cultural Center? That's what Bradenton/Sarasota need. A place to feel they are able to meet for practice, store or whatever they need it for. They are such a "plus" to our community, a very valuable resource along with other things going on. I agree Manatee County should look into building a permanent place just like the Port Charlotte cultural center has, an auditorium, library, shops - all volunteer run and work it possibly like Port Charlotte. They need to get serious about a real place for this wonderful concert band and possibly more things for our Manatee community.

This band is fantastic, so talented and so dedicated to music they should have a permanent place, they deserve it. And what a plus this would be to local residents and visitors like me.

Their performances are so professional, you best figure out a way to do this. Hurray for you, Kathleen Richardson from Bertram, Texas!
