High-wire walking Wallenda to preach at Bradenton First Church
Tino Wallenda to preach and walk high wire
BRADENTON -- Tino Wallenda, uncle of the well-known high-wire walker, Nick Wallenda, and son of the late great, Karl Wallenda, will present the gospel while walking the wire at Bradenton First Church of the Nazarene, 1616 59th St. W., at 6 p.m. Jan. 31.
There is no admission charge.
At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Mitch Chupak, director of development for the Jaffa Institute in Israel, will speak at Bradenton First Church of the Nazarene. The Jaffa Institute serves 6,000 children in slum communities.
The free session will be held in the Family Life Center, Room 209
'Sweethearts of Branson' to be at Bradenton church
EAST PALMETTO -- The "Sweethearts of Branson," Denny Yeary and Shelia Renee, will bring their show to Family of God United Methodist Church, 5601 16th Ave. at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The public is invited to the free concert.
Yeary and Renee were voted Branson's Duo of the Year.
Yeary performed 27 years with the Blackwoods and four years with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.
