Missing Manatee man recovered safe after 5 days

MANATEE -- Thomas Kane, reported missing Saturday, was recovered safe at the Walmart on State Road 64 East at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The 80-year-old Kane was taken to a local hospital for evaluation but overall was in good condition, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
