Using coronavirus to raise political contributions is ‘not Good’ | Letter to the editor
A recent story in the Bradenton Herald quoted state Rep. Margaret Good slamming the vice president for visiting the region days before we learned of the first coronavirus case in our community.
Trying to exploit an opportunity for political gain is par for the course in this day and age. I get that. But then Ms. Good took it a step too far. As reported by another publication, Ms. Good started running fundraising ads off the coronavirus scare. Literally trying to raise money off a disease impacting the health and well-being of people here locally severely crosses the line.
Can both sides of the aisle, for once, tone down the politics and work together to fix this pandemic!
