Manatee County girls basketball teams lose state semifinal games

State championship runs for three final four Manatee County girls basketball teams came to end Thursday.

In a Class 6A semifinal game, Braden River lost to Apopka Wekiva, 80-58.

In Class 5A, Southeast lost its state semifinal game to Plantation American Heritage, 67-55.

And in the Class 3A semifinal, Saint Stephen’s lost to Carrollwood Day, 67-30.
