Claude Lemieux's Family Guide: Who Are the Late NHL Star's Wife and Kids?
NHL star Claude Lemieux's death has left the hockey community heartbroken.
Us Weekly confirmed on Thursday, May 28, that the hockey legend, who won four Stanley Cup championships, had died at the age of 60.
"He was loved by his wife and four children, and on behalf of the Lemieux family, we kindly ask that everyone respect their privacy during this difficult time," NHL Alumni announced at the time.
Us later confirmed that Lemieux was found dead by an apparent suicide in a warehouse their family owned by one of his adult sons.
His family, made up of wife Deborah Lemieux and his four children, Michael, Christopher, Brendan and Claudia, have yet to speak out about his death as NHL fans mourn the loss.

Claude Lemieux's 1st Wife
Little is known about the former NHL player's first wife, besides the fact that they reportedly split in the early 1990s. The exes share two children, sons Michael and Christopher.
Deborah Lemieux
Little is known about Claude's son Michael, except that he appears to go by the Instagram handle @lemiieux17.
Christopher Lemieux
Brendan was born in March 1996 to Claude and Deborah. He followed in his father's footsteps, being drafted into the NHL in 2014. He played for the Winnipeg Jets, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes from 2016 to 2024.
Brendan signed a three-year contract with the HC Davos in Switzerland in December 2024.
Brendan welcomed his first baby, son Luc Robert Lemieux, in March 2025, with his partner, Brookie.
Claudia Lemieux
Claudia is the second child of Claude and Deborah, born in August 1997. She has been working as author Colleen Hoover's assistant since 2023 after graduating from Arizona State University in 2022, according to LinkedIn.
Claudia married baseball player Hunter Bishop in 2024 after seemingly meeting at ASU. The couple welcomed their first baby, a daughter, in February 2026.
Jocelyn Lemieux
Jocelyn Lemieux is one of Claude's two brothers. Jocelyn was born in November 1967 and also played in the NHL. He was part of seven NHL teams over 13 seasons before finishing his professional career with the Long Beach Ice Dogs in the International Hockey League. Claude and Jocelyn's brother Serge was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, according to reports.
