Status Update: Buffalo Wild Wings

BRADENTON -- A new Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant that an Atlanta construction company started building late last year will add some night life to a section of former parking lot at Centre Pointe Commons in 2016.
This week, Venture Construction Co. was at work in and around the framed-up 5,885-square-foot building that will become Manatee County's second "B-Dubs." The restaurant chain currently operates a location on University Parkway near The Mall at University Town Center.
At the new location, 4120 14th Street W., Buffalo Wild Wings is building on a section of parking lot that was once the site of a bank. It will join 17 other tenants in the 119,000-square-foot Centre Pointe Commons. Restaurants already in the shopping center are Chipotle, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Panera Bread, Jersey Mike's and Yogurt Mountain.
Behind the restaurant, facing toward the shopping center's parking lot, the restaurant will feature a 795-square foot covered patio, according to a site plan on file with Manatee County.
The location's owner, Diversified Restaurant Holdings of Southfield, Mich., is a franchisee that operates Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in five states. Company officials did not immediately respond a request to comment on the exact opening date of the Centre Pointe Commons store.
