AMOB on Historic Bridge Street Pier gives sneak peek, will open Dec. 28
BRADENTON BEACH -- This week, family and friends of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar crew are the first to try out the restaurant's venture into serving breakfast foods.
Owner John Horne said the restaurant will open to the public for the first time on Dec. 28. He and the rest of the team call it "AMOB," an abbreviated version of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar name, because the menu is limited compared to other Anna Maria Oyster Bar locations and the restaurant property is smaller. AMOB on the pier also offers counter service to encourage a casual vibe.
Sherman Baldwin of Paradise Boat Tours will open his concierge services for a soft opening on Christmas Day. Laura Shely of Tide & Moon Jewelry and Ann Marie Nicholas of A Room with a Hue couldn't be reached to confirm opening dates.
