New restaurant set to open in Manatee County. You could win free food for a year
Free chicken salad for a year is up for grabs when Chicken Salad Chick, a fast-casual chain restaurant, opens its newest Manatee County location on Tuesday.
The first customer in line when the restaurant, located at 8730 U.S. 301 N. #113 in Parrish’s Creekside Commons shopping plaza, opens at 10 a.m. will receive one free large Quick Chick of chicken salad per week for an entire year, according to a news release.
The next 99 customers will get the same menu item for free per month for an entire year, the company said. In order to receive the reward, the first 100 customers must remain in line and download the Chicken Salad Chick app.
Chicken Salad Chick specializes in various chicken salads using Southern-styled chicken made from scratch daily.
Chicken Salad Chick to open in Parrish
Stacy and Kevin Brown founded the company in 2008 in Auburn, Alabama, according to company history. They have locations as far west as Colorado and New Mexico and several in the southern United States.
The Parrish location is the company’s second for Manatee County.
Franchise owner Karen Jordan owns and operates Chicken Salad Chick’s Bradenton location at 5434 Lockwood Ridge Road off State Road 70. That store opened in 2022.
Chicken Salad Chick previously had a restaurant in the Shoppes of Paradise Bay plaza at the corner of Cortez Road and 75th Street West.
“I’m incredibly excited to open our second Chicken Salad Chick restaurant here in Manatee County,” Jordan said in a news release. “This journey with the brand has already been so rewarding, and expanding into Parrish felt like the natural next step. The community has that charming, small-town feel while being right in the middle of tremendous growth between Sarasota and Tampa, making it one of Florida’s fastest growing areas.”
What else is on the menu?
In addition to its dozen-plus chicken salad flavors, the restaurant offers side salads, gourmet soups, sandwiches and desserts.
The Parrish location has inside dining, an outdoor patio, take-out, third-party delivery and catering options, according to a news release.
In addition to the yearly reward for the first 100 guests on Tuesday, the restaurant has other giveaways during the first week it is open. For more information on those giveaways, visit the restaurant’s Facebook page.
The Parrish location’s hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sunday.
