A building ‘popped up overnight’ in Bradenton. It’s for this new coffee chain
7 Brew, a drive-thru coffee stand with more than 20,000 drink combinations, is weeks away from opening two Manatee County locations.
The Arkansas-based company recently dropped its pre-built coffee stand at 685 Cortez Road W., Bradenton. It’s in the shopping plaza home to the Bradenton Furniture Outlet, Cody’s Original Roadhouse, LA Fitness and Starbucks.
“A lot of people say that it feels like our buildings dropped overnight or they say, ‘I feel like that 7 Brew popped up overnight,’” 7 Brew director of field marketing Emma DeWitt said. “And that’s because they actually do.”
From a warehouse to Bradenton
DeWitt said the company’s modular buildings are built in a warehouse, then loaded on a truck and dropped in place via crane.
7 Brew then develops around the site for parking, pavement, plumbing and electrical, DeWitt said.
The focus of 7 Brew is its drive-thru, but each location has a walk-up window, too. There isn’t any inside seating, but a picnic table is usually provided outside the coffee stand, DeWitt said.
She said the Cortez Road location, which will have between 50 and 60 employees, will open sometime in July.
Customizing flavors
7 Brew’s menu includes its seven original flavors. Among those, the Blondie, a caramel and vanilla breve, is a customer favorite, DeWitt said.
“And breve is a type of a half and half, a little bit of a sweeter milk, but it’s still espresso-based,” DeWitt said. “So you have that espresso, that milk and then that flavor, caramel (and) vanilla. ... Especially for people trying 7 Brew for the first time, if you’re looking for a coffee drink, I think the Blondie is just the best place to start.”
In addition to coffee, 7 Brew also has energy drinks, smoothies, shakes and teas.
DeWitt said the Ocean Breeze, which is a combination of blue raspberry and coconut, is the most popular energy drink.
But the menu is not limited to the original combinations.
“We are all about customizing it to what you want,” DeWitt said. “So you pick your flavors. We obviously have some pre-designated ones that are super popular, but if you don’t like any of those, you can totally make your own flavors.”
Part of that process is choosing the sweetness level, and there are milk alternatives such as oat, almond and coconut milk for additional options.
“We’re all about a customizable experience for those customers, so you’re really getting what you want,” DeWitt said.
More 7 Brews coming to Manatee
7 Brew plans to have three locations in the Bradenton area by the end of 2025, DeWitt said.
That includes shops at 14529 State Road 70 E., Lakewood Ranch, in the Braden River Shopping Center and 5805 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, in the Palma Sola Square Shopping Center.
DeWitt said the one on State Road 70 will open in early July and the Manatee Avenue store will open by late fall.
“Our speed with the drive-thru coffee experience is really what sets us apart, especially for the people that are commuting (for) work that didn’t have time to make their coffee in the morning or whatever it might be,” DeWitt said. “...We try to get you in and out of the line in under three minutes all while giving you that amazing customer service experience and cultivating kindness and supporting the community.”
