Florida-based coffee shop opens first Manatee County location. It has ice cream, too
Six months after filing paperwork to launch its first Manatee County location, Florida-based Foxtail Coffee Co. opened this week in Parrish.
Customers won’t just experience locally sourced coffee at Foxtail’s Market Walk at the North River Ranch store, 11687 Moccasin Wallow Road. Inside, a Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream counter sits adjacent to the Foxtail counter.
Beer and wine options are available on the menu, and the Parrish location has a drive-thru.
It marks the second area store for Foxtail, which was founded in Winter Park, a suburb of Orlando, in 2016. The first shop is at 315 North Cattlemen Road in the University Town Center area.
Foxtail’s menu includes cold brews, fresh brews, teas, lattes, hot chocolate, espressos and more. Customers can also ask for a French press, pour-over or siphon brewed method. Foxtail roasts its coffee in Orlando, according to the company.
The coffee shop’s locations include a mix of company-owned and franchise stores. There are over 80 Foxtail locations in six states, with most of the stores in Florida.
Kelly’s, which also got its start in Orlando, has six standalone stores in central Florida and more than 30 counters inside Foxtail locations.
Kelly’s menu features an assortment of ice cream flavors, milkshakes, soda floats, pints and more.
Foxtail is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
