New Chipotle Mexican Grill in Bradenton sets opening date. It will have something new
Manatee County’s newest Chipotle Mexican Grill officially has an opening date.
The company says the popular fast-casual chain is set to welcome customers at 5002 Cortez Road W., Bradenton, starting at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
The restaurant will feature something new for Bradenton: Chipotlane, a drive-thru pickup lane allowing guests to grab digital orders without leaving their cars.
The location was previously a Boston Market. In August, the Herald reported it would become Chipotle’s second Bradenton location.
The menu features burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, salads, chips and sides, beverages and more, including a build-your-own bowl option with a choice of protein, rice, beans, veggies and other toppings.
The company will celebrate the opening of its second Bradenton location with a limited-time menu offering of “Mexican-inspired smoked brisket,” according to a news release.
The new Chipotle will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
Steve Ells founded Chipotle, which is headquartered in Newport Beach, California, in 1993. The first Chipotle opened in Denver, Colorado, according to a Rocky Mountain News article.
