Here are some options for hassle-free holiday eats around Bradenton.
Bob Evans
Bob Evans offers Thanksgiving spreads to-go for individuals and groups. Order ahead for carryout, delivery or curbside pickup.
The restaurant’s heat-and-serve “Farmhouse Feast” meals are available in servings for four, eight or 10 people ($59.99-$134.99). Choose ham or turkey as a main dish (or get both with the 10-person meal). Sides include dressing, corn, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with ham, cranberry relish, rolls and pumpkin pie. Additional sides are available à la carte. The meals come cold and take up to two hours to heat, according to the restaurant’s website.
Hot and ready-to-eat meals are also also available to go in an individual size ($14.99) and a family size that serves up to six ($79.99).
Bob Evans restaurants will also be open on Thanksgiving Day with special holiday plates for those who want to dine in.

Boston Market
Boston Market offers a selection of turkey, ham or prime rib Thanksgiving meals for carry-out that come complete with mashed potatoes, rolls, pie and other sides. The meals are chilled and simply require heating, and options for 4-6 or 12 people are available ($89.99-$189.99). You can also pick out individual mains and sides.
Hot-and-ready meals are also available for pickup and delivery, or pick from a host of catering options.
The restaurant will also be open for dine-in service on Thanksgiving Day.

Bradenton Country Club
The Bradenton Country Club is offering Thanksgiving meals to-go that feed up to 10 people; pick from smoked ham, turkey or chateaubriand as a main dish ($229-$320). Orders must be placed by Nov. 18 for pickup Nov. 24, the day before Thanksgiving.
The club will also host a holiday buffet from 12-3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day for $55 a person. Reservations are required.

Bridge Tender Inn
If you’d rather forego the traditional Thanksgiving fare and enjoy some beachside surf ’n’ turf, the Bridge Tender Inn in Bradenton Beach has got you covered this holiday. Menu offerings include fried oysters, crab cakes, grouper sandwiches, burgers, fish tacos and much more.

The Capital Grille
Reservations are already full at The Capital Grille’s Sarasota location for dining in on Thanksgiving. However, you can still add a bit of the restaurant’s gourmet flair to your own table with Thanksgiving sides to-go. A medley of sides serves 4-6 people and includes brioche stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes, pecan-crusted sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry-pear chutney and seeded rolls ($125).

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
At Cracker Barrel, Thanksgiving is a specialty. “Heat n’ serve” and to-go meals can be ordered as soon as 24 hours in advance. The meals include roasted turkey breast, a host of sides, pumpkin and pecan pie. Options that serve 4-6 or 8-10 people are available ($99.99-$154.99). The meals are available for pickup from Nov. 20-27. Mains, sides and desserts can also be added to your order à la carte.
The restaurant chain will be open for dine-in and takeout on Thanksgiving with a traditional holiday meal offering.

Der Dutchman
This Sarasota Amish restaurant and buffet is open for Thanksgiving each year with a decadent spread of holiday favorites on the buffet line. The buffet meal is all-you-can-eat and costs $23.99 for adults, $11.99 for children ages 6-12 and $9.99 for children ages 3-5. There are no reservations, and the restaurant usually sees extensive holiday wait times.
Thanksgiving feasts for five, 10 or 20 people can be ordered from Der Dutchman for pickup the week of Thanksgiving. Individual carryout meals are also available. All to-go orders must be placed by 8 p.m. Nov. 20.

Euphemia Haye
Enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with a fine dining touch at Euphemia Haye Restaurant on Longboat Key. In addition to the regular menu and daily specials, the restaurant will offer two Thanksgiving Day specials: a sliced turkey plate with sage stuffing, gravy and honey-glazed carrots or a quarter duck entree with sage stuffing, raspberry sauce and honey-glazed carrots.
A limited number of meals and pies for curbside pickup are also available. Orders must be placed by Friday, Nov. 19.

Golden Corral
Golden Corral is offering holiday meals to-go that feed 6-8 people. Customers can choose a whole roasted turkey or a glazed ham as the centerpiece; included accompaniments are mashed potatoes with gravy, yeast rolls with honey butter, cranberry sauce, cornbread stuffing, a choice of one additional side and a pumpkin or pecan pie ($79.99). Alternatively, change out the traditional holiday meat for fried chicken meal of 12 or 24 pieces ($49.99-$59.99). Individual sides and pies are also available as add-ons. The meals must be ordered with 72 hours advance notice. Order by Nov. 21 for pickup on the day before Thanksgiving.

Mattison’s Restaurants
Mattison’s catering team will offer individual meals, cooked turkeys and entire feasts to-go this Thanksgiving. The feasts include all-natural, antibiotic and hormone-free oven-roasted turkey, apple walnut stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, a ginger-roasted vegetable medley, giblet gravy, fresh cranberries, rolls and butter. The meal is priced at $179. Upgrades of extra sides and desserts are available. Grove Restaurant
Grove Restaurant in Lakewood Ranch and its sister eatery Pier 22 in downtown Bradenton have both sold out of Thanksgiving meals to go for this year. Dine-in reservations are also fully booked at both restaurants.
However, diners can still enjoy a holiday meal at Grove with the restaurant’s “Thanksgiving Day Grand Buffet.” There will be seatings for the all-you-can-eat event at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The buffet will include Thanksgiving classics as well as pasta, seafood and salad options. Adults are $44.95 and kids under 10 are $16.95. Reservations are recommended.

Popeyes
There’s more to Popeyes than the chicken sandwich. In fact, this year the fast food chain is offering to cook up a whole turkey for you. It’s not your grandma’s Thanksgiving turkey, either — this is a Cajun-seasoned, Creole butter-marinated thing of beauty. The pre-cooked birds vary by price and can be ordered with a call or visit to a participating Popeyes location.
