Who’s playing the Strawberry Festival? Country acts and rock throwbacks taking the stage
One of Florida’s most familiar music festivals has bloomed again after taking a pandemic pause in 2021.
On Friday, the Florida Strawberry Festival released its lineup of headliners for the 2022 event — its 87th! — in Plant City for 10 days beginning March 3 to March 13.
Among them, some popular country music acts like Sam Hunt and Lady A (formerly Antebellum). Yesteryear hard rockers like Sammy Hagar and his band, The Circle, and Tesla, when Tesla was an ‘80s pop-metal band and not related to Elon Musk’s cars or spaceships. And nostalgia pop acts like the Beach Boys and The Drifters.
