After announcing a new album due out Nov. 10, Taylor Swift released a new song “Look What You Made Me Do” Thursday night.

Taylor Swift dropped the first single from her new album, reputation, Thursday night, and the internet has a lot to say about it.

Naturally, Swift fans lost their minds, loving that she has released new music for the first time in years.

The song addresses those Swift feels have wronged her in the past - saying their names are part of a long list - and basically says she’s changed in no uncertain terms.

“I’m sorry, the old Taylor Swift can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, ‘cause she’s dead,” Swift says at one point in the son.

The song, “Look What You Made Me Do,” already has more than 3.8 million views on her official VEVO page and The track’s title is a trending hashtag on Twitter.

In a review, the LA Times said “the former country princess turned international pop superstar is not only sadder with the wisdom she’s attained along the way, but also tougher and harder.”

But, naturally, not everyone was a fan.

While the song is catchy, Newsweek’s review calls it “petty pop” and describes it as “a musical version of the Bride from Kill Bill.”

However, Variety says it’s “not exactly a victim song. ‘Honey, I rose up from the dead, I do it all the time’ is the ultimate I-eat-feuders-like-you-for-breakfast line.”

Before the launch of the new single, fans noticed Swift’s social media pages and website go blank. Monday, a cryptic video of a snake was posted to the accounts. Two days later, photos announcing the new album, to be released Nov. 10, were posted.

Now, Swift fans will listen to “Look What You Made Me Do” on repeat until then.
