South Florida Museum “Noise!”
“Noise!” a special exhibit from the ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum includes plenty of activities for kids of all ages and will let visitors explore the physics of sound waves, how music and sound affect our moods, and see how screams measure up on a decibel meter. Visitors can play a pipe organ, watch sand dance and even try their hands at playing a theremin. SeaWorld Salutes Florida First Responders
SeaWorld Orlando, Firehouse Subs and Coca-Cola are honoring Florida first responders for their bravery, sacrifice and service with a special opportunity to spend a day at the park with their families. Now through Aug. 31, first responders can register to receive free admission to SeaWorld Orlando through Sept. 30. Powel Crosley Exhibit and Movie
The Manatee County Agricultural Museum, 1015 Sixth St. W., Palmetto, will show the film “Powel Crosley, Jr. & the 20th Century,” 1 p.m. Wednesdays and the first and third Saturdays through Aug. 31, and the Palmetto Historical Park, 515 10th Ave. W., will host the exhibit “Powel Crosley, Jr. Community Exhibition: His Life.
