Palmetto Family Field Trip Fridays
The public can learn about the history of Palmetto and take part in fun “extras” like picking up mail, planting, identifying “what it is?” items, writing on old-fashioned chalkboards, etc. during Family Field Trip Fridays. Ghost Spirit and Orb Walks
Bunker Hill Vineyard will host “Spirit and Orb Walks.” Guests must arrive by 6 p.m. for a 30-minute indoctrination and discussion of the night’s walk and activities. Guests are asked to bring cameras with a night flash, EVP recorders, EMF recorders, digital temperature recorders, and extra batteries. The “Spirit & Orb Walks” will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and will last until 8 p.m. Reservations are required and are limited to 18 years of age or older. Annual Cool Art Show

Sarasota/Manatee CureSearch 5k and 1-mile Fun Run
The Sarasota/Manatee CureSearch 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run “Candy’s Circus Run” will bring together more than 200 people to celebrate children with cancer and honor those who have lost their fight. Funds raised at the Walk will help funding the pediatric cancer research of CureSearch. The event will have a circus theme and there will be themed characters throughout the course and themed games will be set up. Registration: $20-30.
