The Old Main Street Merchants will host a St. Patrick's Day celebration at Main Street Live! 5 p.m. featuring food vendors, shopping, live country music by Boot Leg, performing original reggae music, March 17. The event is free and open to the public.

Celebrating St Patrick's Day with authentic and traditional food, drinks & entertainment in downtown Bradenton. Live Irish/Celtic music from JJ Smith from noon to 6 p.m. with bagpipers and Irish step dancers during the day as well. All of this in addition to the block party on Main Street that will begin after 5 p.m. Next door, Lou's Diner will have festive specials such as corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, and fish and chips. The Bradenton Elks Lodge 1511 will hold its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration 11 a.m.-9 p.m. March 17 featuring Irish food, and beverages and Irish entertainment provided by the Sarasota Highlanders Bagpipes, Don Huntsinger and Tanya and Matt.
