Gulfcoast Ribfest offers diverse music
The food at the Gulf Coast Rhythm & Ribfest is pretty straightforward: ribs and barbecue from the Bradenton area and around the southern United States, all of it great, most of it award-winning.
The music's a little more varied, with classic rockers Vince Neil and Foghat, current R&B star Fantasia and gospel-funk outfit the Lee Boys leading three days of live music. There's smooth jazz and classic soul.
The idea, organizers say, is to offer something that will suit just about anybody's musical preference.
