13th Annual Porsches in the Park
Some of the most spectacular Porsche cars from all over Florida will be on display in the center of the circle for public viewing 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 9 at St. Armands Circle.
The Harlem Globetrotters
The Harlem Globetrotters, known for their one-of-a-kind family entertainment, will bring their 2018 Amazing Feats of Basketball World Tour to the Amalie Arena in Tampa at 7 p.m. Dec. 8. to take on their long-time adversaries the Washington Generals. Their game will showcase incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy and unequaled fan interaction. After the game, Globetrotter stars will sign autographs and take photos with fans. Outdoor movie screening
“Beauty and the Beast” will be screened outdoors Dec. 9 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota. Gates open at 4 p.m. and the movie will begin just after sunset. The event is free and open to the public, and parking is free on Regatta Island. www.nathanbendersonpark.org.
