Mixon Harvest Festival & Craft Fair

Mixon Fruit Farms will hold it’s annual Harvest Festival & Craft Fair, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 18. The festival features arts and crafts vendons, unique food items and live entertainment from local musicians and dance troupes. Mixon’s is at 2525 27th St. E., Bradenton. www.mixon.com.

Canine Christmas

Bishop Animal Shelter S.P.C.A., 5718 21st Ave. E., Bradenton, will be hosting its 19th annual Canine Christmas festival, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 18. This pet and family friendly event features local animal rescues, food trucks, dog groomers and trainers, as well as vendors selling pet- and holiday-related merchandise. There will be a Doggy Fashion Show hosted by the Doggy Diva where pups can take home trophies in four different categories: Best Christmas Spirit, Best Group, Most Creative and Best Owner/Pet Duo. Sarasota Medieval Fair

The Sarasota Medieval Fair returns to Ringling Woods, the area behind the Sarasota Fairgrounds, for the next three weekends. The woods come to life with anachronistic food, games, costumes and general merriment Saturdays and Sundays, rain or shine, through Nov. 19. Fall Art Show and Sale

Tellabration

The National Storytelling Network is holding worldwide events to connect people to and through storytelling in November. Locally, TELLABRATION!™ brings together the area’s most celebrated storytellers, to delight, captivate, and mesmerize audiences with their stories, 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at Faith United Church of Christ, 4850 State Road 64 E., Bradenton.
