Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources Department will host its first ever World Oceans Day Festival beginning at 9 a.m. June 3 at Emerson Point Preserve, 5801 17th St. W., Palmetto. The event will feature a variety of ocean-themed activities including oyster games and learning the history of fishing in Manatee County while sampling foods from local estuaries.
