Cards Against Humanity buys land on U.S.-Mexican border to stop Trump from building wall
Cards Against Humanity, arguably the world’s most inappropriate adult-card game, is trying to “Save America.”
In its latest promotion announced on Tuesday, the Chicago company behind the popular game is trying to stop President Donald Trump from building his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
But how?
Well, the company says it has purchased a plot of vacant land along the border in an attempt to block construction of the president’s proposed wall and promises to tie up any attempts the government makes to pursue the land.
“Donald Trump is a preposterous golem who is afraid of Mexicans. He is so afraid that he wants to build a twenty-billion dollar wall that everyone knows will accomplish nothing,” a statement on a website called ‘Cards Against Humanity Saves America’ read. “So we’ve purchased a plot of vacant land on the border and retained a law firm specializing in eminent domain to make it as time-consuming and expensive as possible for the wall to get built.”
The government is being run by a toilet. We have no choice... we are going to save America and attempt to keep our brand relevant in 2017

Join in and for $15 we’ll send you six America-saving surprises this December: https://t.co/o1BFmokO9W
The card-game company said the project is part of its holiday promotion, and has promised a map of the land and six other “America-saving” surprises in the month of December to anyone who donates $15 toward the wall-blocking endeavor. But by Wednesday morning, just hours after launching the campaign, Cards Against Humanity announced it was sold out.
The exact location of the land was not released, but in a video describing the campaign, the company says it bought “acres” along the border while footage of wild horses galloping across a desert is shown.
The company has pulled stunts in the past. In 2015, it sold $50,000 “worth of nothing” on Black Friday and raised $100,000 to dig a “Holiday Hole” to nowhere in 2016.
