"Radiator." The U.S. premiere of a film that Sarasota Film Festival programming director Michael Dunaway calls "small," "quiet" and "brilliantly observed." Producer Rachel Weisz will be at the festival. "I think it's a film that people will be talking about for a long time," Dunaway said. 2:45 p.m. April 18, 3:30 p.m. April 19.
"Apartment Troubles." SFF favorites Jennifer Prediger and Jess Weixler direct and star in a story about two roommates on the verge of eviction who head flee New York and head to LA. Megan Mullally also stars, and Jeffrey Tambor and Will Forte have smaller roles. Show times: 1 p.m. April 18, 10 a.m. April 19.
"Tyke Elephant Outlaw." A documentary about the elephant who killed her trainer in front of thousands of people in Honolulu in 1994. It should appeal to people who loved "Blackfish," Dunaway said. Show times: 12:15 p.m. April 18, 7:45 p.m. April 19.
"Unexpected." An inner-city high school teacher discovers she is pregnant at the same time as one of her most promising students, and the two develop an unlikely friendship while struggling to navigate their unexpected pregnancies. Directed by Sarasota Fim Festival favorite Kris Swanberg. 12:15 p.m. April 18.

In Conversation with Tom Browne And Special Guest Rachel Weisz, 2:45 p.m. April 18, Florida Studio Theater -- Keating, 1241 N. Palm Ave., Sarasota. Tom Browne's "Radiator," executive produced by Rachel Weisz, is part of the Festival's Narrative Feature Competition. Browne is the recipient of this year's Emerging World Cinema Auteur Award.
In Conversation with Lynda Obst -- From 'Flashdance' to 'Interstellar' in 24 bumpy steps, 4 p.m. April 18, Florida Studio Theater Lab, 1241 N. Palm Ave., Sarasota. Lynda Obst, whose films have garnered 20 Oscar nominations and four Oscar wins, walks through her storied producing career, with special attention paid to what the secrets are to building a successful and sustainable career in film producing. Lynda Obst is the recipient of this year's newly launched Polly Platt Award for Producing.
Closing Night Film & Awards, 5 p.m. red carpet, 6 p.m. award show, 7 p.m. screening of "I'll See You in My Dreams" April 18, Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave., Sarasota. A screening of "I'll See You in My Dreams," starring Blythe Danner who will walk the red carpet along with director Brett Haley.
