"Brand." Russell Brand skillfully balances philosophy, history and humour as he embarks on his first-ever world tour and meets with a wide and fascinating range of people including Mike Tyson, Pink, 50 Cent, Noel Gallagher, to American Marines, orphans in Kenya, socialists in London and inmates on death row and empowers people to stage a non-violent revolution. Directed by Ondi Timoner, the only person to win Sundance twice (with her films "Dig" and "We Live in Public.") 3:15 p.m. April 17.

"Holbrook-Twain." A documentary about actor Hal Holbrook and his 60 years of portraying Mark Twain. Show times: 4:45 p.m. April 17, 12:45 p.m. April 19.

"Yosemite." The intertwining tales of three fifth-grade friends set in the suburban paradise of Palo Alto as the threat of a mountain lion looms over the community. Based on James Franco's short story collection "A California Childhood," this film creates a nostalgic experience of childhood, while exploring Silicon Valley at a time of technological and social change. 5 p.m. April 17.

"Divine Access." The world premiere of a comedy about a man who goes onto a cable access show to debate a fundamentalist preacher and ends up attracting a following. Dunaway says it's a cross between "The Big Lebowski" and "Life of Brian." 6:30 p.m. April 17.

In Conversation with Jane Seymour, 7 p.m. April 17 at Florida Studio Theater -- Keating, 1241 N. Palm Ave., Sarasota. Evangelos and George Giovanis' "Bereave," starring Jane Seymour and Malcolm McDowell, is one of this year's Spotlight Films. Seymour is the recipient of this year's Icon of Television Award.

Cinema Tropicale, 9 p.m.-1 a.m. April 17, Michael's on East, 1212 S. East Ave., Sarasota. The popular event moves to Michael's on East this year. High end fashion show, live music and DJs, Delicious hors d'oeuvres by Michael's on East. Tickets: $150/$120 member, VIP $300/$240 member

The festival's box office is open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. through April 19 at Regal Hollywood 20, 1993 Main St., Sarasota. Single film tickets are $14 general admission, $10 students with ID.
