ZZ Top postpones Sarasota show
Here's a double dose of bad news for ZZ Top fans.
On April 14, bassist Dusty Hill tripped on some stairs leading to the stage for a concert in Lubbock, Texas. He broke his shoulder and had to have surgery.
And that, unfortunately, means that the band's concert set for April 27 at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota has been postponed. So have all the other concerts that Hill, Frank Beard and Billy Gibbons had scheduled through May 7.
The Sarasota show has been rescheduled for Oct. 31. If you have tickets, they'll still be good for the new date. If you need more information, call the Van Wezel box office at 941-953-3368.
